Reserved to Yoga Teachers who have a minimum of E-RYT200 certification accredited by the Yoga Alliance.

You will receive 15 hours CEU accredited by the Yoga Alliance, CPR certificate, and certificate of completion of a Specific Training for Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga Instructor.

3-Day training curriculum:

Day 1

10am   Introduction to Yoga-Water: benefits, intention, environment (location, current, tides,..)

11am    Stand Up Paddleboarding experience and skills, anchor, balance, ..

12pm   Security and precautions

12:30pm  lunch

2pm    Setup and preparation before class

3pm  Practice Yoga on SUP with variations and develop more skills paddleboarding


Day 2

10am     Logistics, insurance, waivers, setup and warm-up

11am     Yoga on SUP Class and series for beginners, create a strong foundation

12:30pm  lunch

2pm     Variations for beginners, therapeutics and intermediate _ how to adapt class and series

3pm    Yoga on SUP Practice for intermediate

4:30pm Evaluation and Q/A


Day 3

10am    Presentations, invitations and requirements for the instructors, location and participants

11am     Yoga on SUP Class with variations

12:30pm  lunch

2pm    Practice between the participants leading each others through the series, including variations

4:30pm  Evaluations and completion


The 3-day specific training includes

Rental of the paddleboards, and gears (lifejacket when necessary, anchors, ….), a printed manual, and Yoga-Water (on SUP) certificates with continuing education accredited by Yoga Alliance.

12ChristelleKite010Christelle Chopard is a Registered Yoga Teacher, E-RYT500. She has been practicing professionally holistic healing, consulting and self-development for 23 years; and founded the Dharmi-Yoga.

She began to practice and teach Yoga on  Paddleboard in 2009, in Miami, Florida. In 2012 she began to offer Specific Training for yoga teachers, with CEU accredited by the Yoga Alliance.
Through her experience and practice, she created a manual that includes a sequence that is adapted to the practice on paddleboard, as well as instructions on how to anchor the boards, observe the forecast, tides, current, wind conditions. This manual is very practical and useful for anybody who choose to bring their practice from the mat to the board.
